Flights resume after second night of chaos at Hong Kong airport
- Flights resuming: Flights in Hong Kong are finally leaving and airlines are re-booking passengers after hundreds of departures were canceled since Monday.
- Chaos at the airport: On Monday and Tuesday nights, thousands of pro-democracy protesters occupied the airport, grounding flights and leaving passengers stranded. The airport descended into chaos last night when riot police clashed with protesters.
- Two months of protests: The protests were sparked in early June by a proposed law which would allowed extradition to mainland China. The bill has beensuspended, but protesters now have a much wider host of evolving demands.
